Kota Batu mengalami peningkatan dalam sektor pariwisata sebagai salah satu destinasi unggulan di Jawa Timur. Salah satu atraksi pariwisata populer adalah Batu Street Food Festival (BSFF) yang menarik banyak pengunjung ke Kota Batu. Festival ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kuliner khas serta meningkatkan daya tarik wisata melalui pengalaman kuliner yang unik dan berkesan. Namun, masih diperlukan upaya lebih dalam untuk memastikan bahwa festival ini tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman yang memorable, tetapi juga menciptakan keterikatan (place attachment) dan kepuasan (satisfaction) bagi pengunjung. Selain itu, dengan kemajuan teknologi, penggunaan smart technology dalam festival diharapkan mampu memperkuat perilaku positif pengunjung (tourist citizenship behavior), yang mencakup rekomendasi kepada orang lain, perilaku proaktif, dan kontribusi terhadap kebersihan dan kenyamanan acara.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh memorable experience terhadap place attachment dan satisfaction sebagai mediasi, dan dampaknya dalam memengaruhi citizenship behavior pengunjung BSFF. Smart technology diteliti sebagai variabel moderasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara variabel tersebut. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari pengunjung BSFF menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui googleform. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4.0.1.5.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Memorable experience memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap place attachment; (2) Memorable experience memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap satisfaction; (3) Memorable experience memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citizenship behavior; (4) Place attachment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap satisfaction; (5) Place attachment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citizenship behavior; (6) Satisfaction memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap citizenship behavior; (7) Smart technology berperan sebagai moderator yang positif dan signifikan antara memorable experience dan place attachment. (8) Smart technology menunjukkan moderasi yang positif namun tidak signifikan pada pengaruh memorable experience terhadap citizenship behavior. (9) smart technology memiliki pengaruh moderasi yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap memorable experience dan satisfaction.

The city of Batu has experienced growth in its tourism sector as one of the top destinations in East Java. One of its popular tourism events is the Batu Street Food Festival (BSFF), which attracts numerous domestic visitors. This festival aims to introduce local cuisine and enhance tourism appeal through unique and memorable culinary experiences. However, further efforts are needed to ensure that this festival not only provides memorable experiences but also fosters place attachment and satisfaction among visitors. Additionally, with technological advancements, the use of smart technology at the festival is expected to strengthen positive visitor behaviors (tourist citizenship behavior), such as recommending the event to others, engaging proactively, and contributing to the cleanliness and comfort of the event.
This study aims to analyze the influence of memorable experiences on place attachment and satisfaction as mediating factors, and their impact on shaping the citizenship behavior of BSFF visitors. Smart technology is examined as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationships among these variables. Research data were collected from BSFF visitors through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The analysis method used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0.1.5 software.
The research findings indicate that: (1) Memorable experience has a positive and significant influence on place attachment; (2) Memorable experience has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction; (3) Memorable experience has a positive and significant influence on citizenship behavior; (4) Place attachment has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction; (5) Place attachment has a positive and significant influence on citizenship behavior; (6) Satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on citizenship behavior; (7) Smart technology acts as a positive and significant moderator between memorable experience and place attachment; (8) Smart technology shows a positive but not significant moderation effect on the influence of memorable experience on citizenship behavior; and (9) Smart technology has a negative and not significant moderating effect on the influence of memorable experience on satisfaction.
